New Camp Nou
Impressive upgrade planned and just shows what / how modifications can be done whilst not interrupting the seasons.

Amazing stadium

Very deceiving from the outside as about a quarter of it is dug underground. From the outside looks no bigger than the emirates.

Tour is ok, worth doing if youre there.

I went on holiday to Barcelona with a girlfriend in the mid nineties. Being the romantic old fool that I am, I treated her to a game at the Nou Camp. The crowd didn't 'sit on their hands' that evening. The teams came out to the Catalan national anthem and the crowd went wild.

135 Euro's for a kids home shirt. You sure? I went there two years ago and they were charging 75 Euro's for the adult home shirt.

It's fucking mental though. We went to the stadium on a Sunday and the shop was rammo. Queues of people with kits and shirts and merch.

The must make millions from merch.

Re: New Camp Nou
my bird sorted it out for me, she bought them online but you can buy tickets on the day and you can just stroll around at your own pace, they did offer us like a headset to get a tour, but we just walked round as its all there for you, the mega store is mental and proper expensive aswell! they wanted 135 euros for a kids home shirt! we just got our son a cheap one from one of the many shops around barcelona, a good way of getting round and seeing everything in barcelona is to do the bus tour, you can hop on and off where ever

I'm going in June. Did you sort the tickets before you went or get them out there?

Looks like an added roof and opening up the walkways around the sides.
It is a bit tired and they COULD do with some sticks to give the fans a poke.
Been watching Cruyff, Maradona, Ronaldo (Fat), Rivaldo , Xavi , Messi etc etc for decades while sitting on their hands.

Amazing place although looking a bit tatty so could do with a bit of a facelift, it'll be amazing when it's finished but their fans could do with livening up. There's a little section behind the goal that is decent but the rest of the ground is very quiet.

I got told to sit down by some old cunt when Messi started doing kick ups in the box and I was next to all their singers in the lower tier.
